BookHeart: Founder's First Reveal

Across social media today, you'll see me discussing BookHeart on video. Yep, I finally got out of my cave. I'll do a reveal soon, but until then, enjoy hunting a book dragon. ;-)

Our community section is ready for you to connect to share your posts, reviews, and bookish chats, and bring your people with you: collectors, authors, events managers, bookstores. No algorithms. Just a space made for readers. The magic's better when it's shared. You'll even see some from me with upcoming June books I may or may not be sharing. ;-)

Nothing makes me happier than seeing your ISOs (in search of) roll into the community section (psst — Community → Wanted Books). I've sourced a few for some of you, and that moment of pure joy when the right book finds the right reader is unmatched. So, if you're holding a book someone's been hunting for, list it and reach out through their ISO listing. Give those treasures a new home.

A few items we've built over the past few months are now live:

1. Events - if you enjoy book events but found it hard to find them all in one place, BookHeart is open source for all bookish events - including authors signings, so they can share with the book community where they will be if they join BookHeart or if you as a reader found an event you'd like to share with others.

2. Author direct listings - No more listing books on platforms not specific to readers. Authors are now able to list their books directly through BookHeart. Payment processing as well as our shipping we use in the special edition marketplace is the same in our author retail section. If you know an author with books on hand and want to get them in the hands of readers, we have built out a retail section to help them do this. If they're interested, they can create a profile on BookHeart and send an email to theteam@bookheart.com for us to set up their storefront.

3. New authors - Lindsey Richardson, D.L. Jennings, Nadine Theiss and Bethanie Loren have joined the community at BookHeart and we're so excited to have them! Lindsey's interview went live across socials this week so make sure to give her and our new authors a follow here on BookHeart.
