BookHeart Giveaway: Coveted Cover edition of The Poison Daughter by Sheila Masterson

Hello, BookHearters.

We recently polled you here on BookHeart to ask which book you are most in search of. Your answer is our giveaway...

From now through October 31, every friend you bring into the BookHeart community earns you another chance at winning.

There are two ways to win. One prize goes to a randomly drawn entrant, and one goes to the member who brings the most new readers home.

Official Rules

THE PRIZES

- Random drawing from all entries: The Poison Daughter, Coveted Covers edition

- Top Recruiter (the member with the most verified new-member referrals): The Poison Daughter, signed Traditional US Deluxe Edition with character art

Each person can win one prize. If the Top Recruiter is also pulled in the random drawing, we'll draw again so a second reader goes home happy.

DATES AND WHO CAN ENTER

The giveaway runs October 3 through October 31, 2026, ending at 11:59 p.m. ET.

- Current members are anyone with a BookHeart account created before October 1, 2026.

- New members are anyone who creates a BookHeart account between October 1 and October 31, 2026.

- Entrants must be 18 or older, live in the US

and have a fully completed BookHeart profile.

HOW TO EARN ENTRIES

Everyone starts with entries based on their membership, then earns more by recruiting and sharing.

- BookHeart Ambassadors: 3 starting entries

- Current members (joined before Oct 1): 2 starting entries

- New members (joined Oct 3–31): 1 starting entry

Recruit a reader: +1 entry each. Every member earns one extra entry for each new member they bring in, and that includes new members. Recruited in week one? Start recruiting your own friends right away.

To count, your new member must post this in the BookHeart Community section, filling in your BookHeart username and their favorites:

"@[username] sent me to BookHeart! My favorite authors, special edition companies, or book artists are..."

Example: If my friend Amanda sent me, I would ask her the username she has for BookHeart (let's use AmandaReadsBooks and state, "@AmandaReadsBooks sent me! My favorite authors are Edgar Allen Poe and Sheila Masterson" OR "My favorite special edition books come from Coveted Cover" or "My favorite book artist is Mora Ocez"

Share the BookHeart Book Festival: +1 entry each. Share a BookHeart Book Festival post, found on our social accounts to your Instagram, Facebook, Threads, or TikTok grid or stories, up to 10 share entries per person. Tag BookHeart on Instagram or Threads (@the.bookheart) and TikTok (thebookheart), and BookHeart on Facebook, so we can see it.

WHAT COUNTS

- Each new member counts once, credited to the first username named in their Community post.

- The new member's account must be created, and their post published, by October 31 at 11:59 p.m. ET.

- Self-referrals and duplicate or placeholder accounts don't count.

- Shares must be visible to us. Social posts on private accounts will not be visible to us, but you may send a screenshot of your post to us via DM on socials.

WINNERS

We'll draw the random winner and confirm the Top Recruiter on November 8th. If two or more members tie for Top Recruiter, we'll pick one of them at random.

Winners will be notified through their BookHeart account email. They have three days to respond before we choose an alternate. BookHeart ships both prizes free of charge.

If you ever rehome your prize: We hope these editions live on your shelf for years. If you ever decide to part with yours, accepting the prize means you agree to rehome it through BookHeart.com, so it lands with another collector in our community.

- No purchase is necessary to enter or win.

- Approximate retail value: Coveted Covers edition $45; signed Deluxe U.S. Edition $30. Winners are responsible for any taxes.

- This giveaway is run by BookHeart. It is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by Instagram, Facebook, Threads, Meta, TikTok, Coveted Cover, Zando, or Slowburn.

- BookHeart may disqualify any entry that appears fraudulent or breaks these rules, and may update these rules if needed.
